In the environment where trucks operate, there are various "moving hazards" such as pedestrians, bicycles, motorcycles, and workers. Even drivers who are highly conscious of safe driving find it difficult to be aware of all objects that enter their blind spots. Trucks have large and long bodies, and the shapes of their cargo areas and cabins create many areas that are hard to see, such as on the sides, behind, and directly underneath the vehicle. This structural blind spot is also the reason why accidents often occur during turns or while reversing. The "BFV203" from Pal Giken is an aftermarket warning system developed to cover these "invisible risks." It outputs an alarm when an intruder disrupts the detection area, which is composed of a pair of transmitters and receivers. Utilizing a 24GHz band specific low-power radio, it does not interfere with other communications or broadcasts, allowing for worry-free use without the need for a license.
