In 2019, EIZO's railway monitor "DuraVision FDF2123W" was adopted for train boarding and alighting monitoring by Tokyu Corporation. Four units of the "FDF2123W" were installed vertically in housings on each platform, displaying the camera footage set up within the platform. This is used by crew members to confirm passenger boarding and alighting, ensuring the safe closing of train doors. We spoke with the personnel responsible for equipment selection, as well as the operators who actually use the "FDF2123W" for boarding and alighting confirmation, to understand the reasons for selection and their experiences after implementation.
