To address this, they adopted a motor with a brake for the basket inversion. The stopping position of the basket was made easy to adjust in increments, with a kick plate for the limit switch welded to a slit collar. As a result, work could be performed at a stopping position of the basket that matched the height of the workers, reducing the manufacturing process by one step compared to usual, thereby increasing production efficiency. [Case Study] Air Transport System (Collection of Trimmed Paper Pieces from Bookbinding)

The separator had a predetermined airflow capacity based on its size, but adjustments were needed at the limit of the acceptable airflow, leading to the issue of "bookbinding cut paper pieces not falling smoothly from the lower hopper." [Case Study] Dust Collector (Dry Type) (1)

This is an introduction to a case study that achieved effective dust collection utilizing the volume of a drum can!

We confirmed on-site how the dust generated during the operation of the dust collector behaves in relation to the plastic bag inside the drum and what factors cause problems. It was found that there was a significant amount of residual air between the inside of the drum and the plastic bag covering it, and we observed the phenomenon of air and the plastic bag being drawn toward the hopper side. To reduce the air in the gap between the drum and the plastic bag to below the internal pressure of the dust collector, we installed a vacuum piping and an adjustment valve to the drum to adjust the atmospheric pressure difference. As a result, the inner plastic gradually became closely adhered to the inside of the drum, effectively achieving dust collection capacity. There were issues with the disposal of exhaust gas after cleaning, which contained film gloss wax components. Therefore, various spray nozzles were used in the exhaust gas inflow section of the wet dust collector to increase the particle size of the target substances through forced humidification of the entire gas, thereby improving the dust collection capability of the wet dust collector. After the installation of the equipment, the exhaust gas became cleaner, and there were no complaints from nearby residents, along with a significant reduction in odor.
