VIT-ANAMMOX (ANAMMOX = anaerobic ammonia oxidation) offers a low-cost process as an alternative to conventional nitrification/denitrification treatment. The initiation of ANAMMOX bacteria activity has so far been monitored indirectly through ammonia reduction rates. This product enables faster monitoring of process stabilization by utilizing a kit-based VIT gene probe technology. The number of wastewater treatment plants switching from conventional systems to this product continues to increase overseas.
