As a measure against bridge blockage of the filtration aid, we would like to introduce a case where "Brodie Disk & Brodie Disk Mini" were installed. Four Brodie Disks were installed at the upper and lower center of the hopper cone, and two Brodie Disk Minis were installed 75 mm above the wall of the hopper cone along the discharge outlet. We would like to introduce a case where a Brody Disk was implemented to prevent bridging in a silo containing highly active powder. The material name is undisclosed, but regarding the material of the elastic disk, we were informed that standard special silicone, optional EPDM, and custom fluororubber could be applied, leading to the installation of the standard Brody Disk. Before the introduction of this product, vibrators and crushing screws were installed, but frequent discharge troubles occurred. An air vibrator was used as a countermeasure for poor powder discharge, but in some cases with certain powders, it did not work well, leading to the installation of our product.
