The Laboplast Mill S series consists of a basic unit, measurement head (mixer/extruder), dedicated frame, data processing unit (with rack), and its accessories. The "Laboplast Mill Micro" is a tabletop experimental device used for evaluating the kneadability and extrusion characteristics of samples that can only be obtained in small quantities, such as ultra-small volume samples synthesized at the laboratory level, nanoparticles (carbon nanotubes, silica, titanium oxide, etc.), and next-generation composite materials in research and applications. ■ Sample testing is available at our factory (Kita-ku, Tokyo), so please feel free to contact us.

This is a mixer designed for elastomers. There are also B60, B75 (electric heating), B250 (electric heating), BR250 (oil heating), and B600 (electric heating).

It is used for the evaluation test of plasticizer absorption of PVC powder or similar powders in drive blends.

A hopper that allows testing of samples under nitrogen purge or vacuum conditions (absolute pressure 5 kPa, max 250°C) while applying pressure with a cylinder. (Block No. 2 will have a round hole type.)

● A small amount of sample (4-5 cm³) can be used for kneading evaluation tests (dispersion, wetting, reaction, crosslinking, absorption, etc.). ● A powerful kneading test can be conducted using a gear-type co-rotating blade based on the principle of a twin-screw extruder. ● The strength of kneading can be adjusted arbitrarily according to the sample by rearranging the disk phase of the blade. ● Simple vacuum (degasification), N2 purging (to prevent oxidative degradation) tests, and internal observation (visualization) of kneading are available as options.

● It is a segment system that allows for free reconfiguration of the screw. ● By combining screw segments, you can adjust the strength of mixing and change the mixing zones. ● It is equipped with a vent port and a side feeder hole that allows for sample supply from the middle. ● The screw rotation speed is twice the motor's set rotation speed, enabling high shear mixing. ● Since it rotates in the same direction, it has self-wiping properties.

● Despite its small size with a diameter of 15mm, it is a gear-type co-rotating twin-screw extruder, allowing for powerful mixing. ● By rearranging the screw segments, mixing with varying intensities can be achieved in any zone, and degassing is also possible. ● Based on the information obtained from the mixer, a small amount of compound can be sampled.
