The drying and curing time of paints, inks, adhesives, etc., is measured non-contactly by irradiating the surface of the sample with laser light and analyzing the reflected interference fringe pattern.

It is the most common method for wear testing of flat materials, evaluating the wear degree of the contact surface with two wear rings based on changes in mass, thickness, and gloss. We have various types of wear rings available.
