Alumina ceramics (AL203) are fine ceramics with excellent electrical insulation, wear resistance, and chemical stability. As a fine ceramic, alumina is a difficult material to machine, but by utilizing our accumulated processing know-how, we can handle machining in various shapes, large, medium, and small. Additionally, alumina can accommodate various applications such as improving surface roughness through polishing and surface treatments. Our standard material is 99.5% alumina, but we also offer high-purity alumina, low-purity economical alumina, heat-dissipating alumina, plasma-resistant alumina, porous alumina, and various other options. Aluminum nitride (AlN) is a ceramic that excels in high-temperature characteristics. It boasts an extremely high thermal conductivity, comparable to silicon carbide among fine ceramics, with a thermal conductivity of 170 W. Its coefficient of thermal expansion is close to that of silicon, and it also has excellent corrosion resistance, making it widely used as components and substrates for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Additionally, due to its thermal properties, it is suitable for heater applications. It is also used as a heater tool for semiconductor back-end bonding, which requires strict flatness, parallelism, and surface roughness. Silicon nitride (Si3N4) is a ceramic with excellent heat resistance and hardness. As a fine ceramic, silicon nitride is a difficult material to machine, but it is particularly hard and challenging to process. Silicon carbide (SiC) is a material that excels in heat resistance among fine ceramics and maintains its strength even at high temperatures. As a fine ceramic, silicon carbide is a difficult-to-machine material, but it is particularly hard and challenging to process. Depending on the shape, it is possible to respond to short delivery times through machining from pre-fired materials, so please feel free to inquire. Zirconia (ZrO2) is a ceramic with excellent mechanical strength and wear resistance. As a fine ceramic, zirconia is a difficult material to machine, but our company can accommodate various shapes through precision and fine processing. We also offer various types such as partially stabilized zirconia, stabilized zirconia, and conductive zirconia, as well as black zirconia. Due to its unstable crystal structure, zirconia has limited use at high temperatures. Therefore, we also handle zirconia suitable for specific applications, such as stabilized zirconia with added Y2O3.
