Alumina ceramics (AL203) are fine ceramics with excellent electrical insulation, wear resistance, and chemical stability. As a fine ceramic, alumina is a difficult material to machine, but by utilizing our accumulated processing know-how, we can handle machining in various shapes, large, medium, and small. Additionally, alumina can accommodate various applications such as improving surface roughness through polishing and surface treatments. Our standard material is 99.5% alumina, but we also offer high-purity alumina, low-purity economical alumina, heat-dissipating alumina, plasma-resistant alumina, porous alumina, and various other options. "PBI (SCM7000)" is a super engineering plastic that excels in high heat resistance and high mechanical strength. The high heat-resistant resin PBI = polybenzimidazole demonstrates its excellent heat resistance and high strength, providing outstanding performance against various concerns in manufacturing processes, such as high-temperature environments, corrosive environments like process gases, environments that are sensitive to impurities, and areas where mechanical strength is required due to wear concerns. In particular, it outperforms conventional polyimide materials widely used in the harsh environments of semiconductor and liquid crystal manufacturing processes. Aluminum nitride (AlN) is a ceramic that excels in high-temperature characteristics. It boasts an extremely high thermal conductivity, comparable to silicon carbide among fine ceramics, with a thermal conductivity of 170 W. Its coefficient of thermal expansion is close to that of silicon, and it also has excellent corrosion resistance, making it widely used as components and substrates for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Additionally, due to its thermal properties, it is suitable for heater applications. It is also used as a heater tool for semiconductor back-end bonding, which requires strict flatness, parallelism, and surface roughness. Silicon nitride (Si3N4) is a ceramic with excellent heat resistance and hardness. As a fine ceramic, silicon nitride is a difficult material to machine, but it is particularly hard and challenging to process. Silicon nitride is highly resistant to thermal shock, maintains strength at high temperatures, and has a low coefficient of thermal expansion, making it suitable for use in high-stress environments. The heat-dissipating ceramic "N-9H," developed for heat sinks, has a density of over 99% alumina. By using a special manufacturing process to minimize the residual sintering binder, it achieves an ultra-dense sintered body that maximizes the heat dissipation properties unique to alumina. "Shaparl HI M-soft" is a high-performance machinable ceramic with excellent thermal conductivity. It has a very high thermal conductivity among machinable ceramics and also boasts high strength. Its thermal conductivity is approximately 90W due to the inclusion of aluminum nitride, and it has excellent machinability as a composite material with BN. While it is easy to machine, its high strength places this product in the relatively difficult-to-machine category among machinable ceramics. Since it is only available through machining from plate material, there are shapes that cannot be processed. Its machinability also provides delivery advantages, making it effective for small-scale prototypes starting from one piece to urgent projects. In the case of fine ceramics, which are difficult to machine, there are many situations where they are over-specified, and our product is well-suited as an alternative in such cases. Due to its heat resistance and extremely low thermal conductivity, it is also used as an insulating material in high-temperature environments where conventional insulation materials cannot be applied. Silicon carbide (SiC) is a material that excels in heat resistance among fine ceramics and maintains its strength even at high temperatures. As a fine ceramic, silicon carbide is a difficult-to-machine material, but it is particularly hard and challenging to process. Depending on the shape, it is possible to respond to short delivery times through machining from pre-fired materials, so please feel free to inquire. Zirconia (ZrO2) is a ceramic with excellent mechanical strength and wear resistance. As a fine ceramic, zirconia is a difficult material to machine, but our company can accommodate various shapes through precision and fine processing. We also offer various types such as partially stabilized zirconia, stabilized zirconia, and conductive zirconia, as well as black zirconia. Due to its unstable crystal structure, zirconia has limited use at high temperatures. Therefore, we also handle zirconia suitable for specific applications, such as stabilized zirconia with added Y2O3.
