"Shaparl HI M-soft" is a high-performance machinable ceramic with excellent thermal conductivity. It has a very high thermal conductivity among machinable ceramics and also boasts high strength. Its thermal conductivity is approximately 90W due to the inclusion of aluminum nitride, and it has excellent machinability as a composite material with BN. While it is easy to machine, its high strength places this product in the relatively difficult-to-machine category among machinable ceramics. Since it is only available through machining from plate material, there are shapes that cannot be processed. Its machinability also provides delivery advantages, making it effective for small-scale prototypes starting from one piece to urgent projects. In the case of fine ceramics, which are difficult to machine, there are many situations where they are over-specified, and our product is well-suited as an alternative in such cases. Due to its heat resistance and extremely low thermal conductivity, it is also used as an insulating material in high-temperature environments where conventional insulation materials cannot be applied. Moreover, the processing precision that cannot be achieved with conventional insulation materials is made possible with ceramics, allowing our product to be utilized as a high-precision insulating material.
