Non-destructive testing machine "Anchor Checker"

Inspection is possible just by placing the probe on the designated part of the anchor! A non-destructive testing device that can inspect and determine the bonding condition of post-installed anchors.

The (HAWK) Anchor Checker is a non-destructive testing device that can inspect and determine the bonding condition of post-installed anchors. It allows for inspection simply by placing the probe on the designated part of the anchor, making it possible to conduct tests in a shorter time compared to tensile tests. Additionally, while sound testing can yield varying results due to surrounding noise or the skill of the tester, the Anchor Checker sets thresholds based on the measurement values of anchors in good installation condition, ensuring consistent evaluations. (Note: This does not guarantee the pull-out resistance of post-installed anchors.) 【Features】 ■ Lightweight and Compact: It is lightweight and compact, allowing for space-saving inspections. ■ Non-destructive: Since inspection is performed simply by placing the probe, it does not affect the anchor or the structure. ■ Easy Inspection: It does not require complex operations, enabling quick inspection and determination. ■ Fair Evaluation: It automatically performs quantitative assessments based on pre-set thresholds. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

Shear Reinforcement Method "RMA Method"

Construction technology certification acquisition method! No need for mortar mixing or installation of injection holes on site!

The "RMA Method" is a shear reinforcement method that allows for reinforcement without encroaching on the inner cross-section of continuous walls. It employs capsules containing premixed mortar as a bonding agent. This method enables construction using impact on long or thick reinforcement bars, making it a post-construction technique. Since there is no need for mortar mixing or the installation of injection holes on-site, special management is unnecessary. Reinforcement is carried out only for the insufficient shear strength, allowing for a transition from shear failure to bending failure. 【Features】 ■ Drilling can be done with a small diameter and only once ■ No mixing on-site, maintaining consistent quality ■ Simple product composition and construction method, reducing construction time ■ Minimal interference with existing structural reinforcement, allowing for reduced re-drilling ■ A method that does not use large or specialized machinery, saving space *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Torsion Nut K/ZK

Torque management nuts that prevent human error. They help prevent forgetting to tighten and keep the tightening torque within the appropriate range.

When the cap set on the nut reaches the appropriate torque, the inner claws break, and the cap spins freely to indicate that the installation is complete. A capped state means it has not been installed. The work is completed when the cap comes off and the nut is exposed. This prevents not only forgetting to tighten or insufficient tightening but also seizing due to over-tightening. It is possible to tighten with the appropriate torque using only an impact wrench, without the need for a torque wrench or special tightening machinery.

Gainah SH sheet board method (tunnel, concrete structure reinforcement)

Existing Tunnel Reinforcement Method Using CFRP Strip Adhesive - Achieving Effective Tunnel Interior Reinforcement with High-Strength CFRP Using Carbon Fiber Sheets and Separators.

■NETIS Number: KT-230046 Technology Name: Fiber Sheet Adhesive Method for Tunnel and Bridge Repair and Reinforcement "Gaina SH Sheet Board Method" * Reinforcement with a single-layer laminated fiber sheet using high-density carbon fiber (compared to standard multi-layer). * Compared to our carbon fiber sheet method of overlapping application, this method is expected to shorten construction time and reduce costs. * Lighter than our steel plate adhesive method. No anchor work is required due to adhesive application. This method involves fewer processes compared to our continuous fiber sheet method. * High strength allows for strip-like arrangement. Unfinished areas between strips can be visualized, enabling visual confirmation of crack progression after reinforcement. * High-performance impregnation agents ensure reliable impregnation, allowing for high-quality construction. * No special skills are required for adhesive and impregnation work, making it easy to secure construction personnel. * As a fiber sheet adhesive method, partial construction and partial adhesion are possible. It is flexible, allowing for easy application in corners.

ROAD 2026

ROAD 2026: The 7th Roundtable on the Purpose of Autonomous Driving, Japan

  • NEW
  • SEMINAR_EVENT

About ROAD: The "Roundtable on the Purpose of Autonomous Driving (ROAD)" conference series has evolved into a unique platform for interdis-ciplinary dialogue and international collaboration in the field of autonomous driving and autonomous mobility. Established in 2016, ROAD has brought together researchers, industry leaders, and public sector stakeholders from six countries across three continents. Based on this background, the upcoming ROAD 2026 will focus on "safety” and "driving AI”—the final pieces of the autonomous driving puzzle—to advance discussions on establishing the foundational framework for ensuring safety quality and obtaining regular-tory approval for autonomous driving. We also intend to discuss the international commonalities and differences regarding the social value brought about by ADS vehicles in terms of automation, intelligent driving, and mobility. We have established a total of five compelling themes for the Round Workshops, consisting of two topics related to “The Last Piece” and three topics related to the social value of ADS, as shown below. 1) Round Workshop 1 - Horizons of E2E Driving AI → Can AI Understand the Driving Environment Like Humans? 2) Round Workshop 2 - Beyond the Unknown: Safety Cases for ADS → Can Safety Ever Be Proven? 3) Round Workshop 3 - Envisioning Smart City Mobility → Can Smart City Mobility Bridge the Mobility Divide? 4) Round Workshop 4 - Logistics Enhancement Through Autonomous Tracking → Will Logistics Become Human-Free? 5) Round Workshop 5 - The Evolution of CASE: SDV/AIDV → Will Automakers Become AI Companies? We hope you’ll all join us!

[Seminar] Design and Operation of Civil Liability and Governance in AI Development and Use

  • NEW
  • SEMINAR_EVENT

[Instructor] Yuichiro Kabushiki, Partner Lawyer at TMI Comprehensive Law Office [Key Lecture Content] With the spread of AI, there is growing attention on the civil liability of developers, providers, and users of AI. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will publish "Guidelines on the Interpretation and Application of Civil Liability in AI Utilization" in April 2026, and the Ministry of Justice will also establish an expert meeting to examine civil liability related to unauthorized use of images and voices generated by AI in the same month. As the full enforcement of the AI Promotion Act and the revision of AI guidelines are underway, it is necessary to design and operate governance based on the potential responsibilities that may arise retrospectively. In this seminar, based on the guidelines from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and drawing on litigation practice experience as a judge and lawyer, we will organize the basic framework for assessing civil liability and explain fundamental methods for designing and operating governance based on risk analysis. Furthermore, we will examine the framework for civil liability and the design and operation of governance using hypothetical cases that are likely to pose practical issues.
