Casting × 3D Printer "Mold" and "Core" 'SCM Series' capable of supporting everything from prototype development to mass production! Supported by equipment, materials, and software.

The "SCM Series" is a 3D printer for casting that produces "casting molds" and "cores" using sand molds. It utilizes a 3D printer for casting that employs an inkjet method with "dry artificial sand." By discharging resin into dry artificial sand (produced by GunEi Chemical Industry) and curing it, it enables the high-precision production of complex-shaped cores and molds. - The production time for casting prototypes can be significantly reduced. Since model production is unnecessary, the time required for prototype production, which previously took about a month, can be greatly shortened. - It is possible to reduce model production costs. Direct sand mold production from 3D (CAD/scanner) data eliminates the need for model production and storage space for wooden molds. If shape changes are necessary, production can be done immediately after data modification. - The simultaneous production of various similar items with different shapes and dimensions reduces lead time in the prototyping stage. The "SCM-1800" is a large sand mold additive manufacturing device suitable for the production of main molds and cores, boasting a build speed of approximately 18 seconds per layer, from prototyping to mass production. This product achieves high dimensional accuracy and can create molds as thin as approximately 2mm, allowing for pouring not only aluminum but also high-melting metals such as cast steel and cast iron.
