The new precision power chuck KCHP/VKCHP is equipped with functions to prevent unnecessary oil loss and coolant intrusion. KCHP can operate with a hydraulic drawbar and can also be activated by an air cylinder mounted on the spindle side. VKCHP operates through a rotating air tube that passes through the spindle, eliminating the need for an air cylinder. Quick change of jaws with micron-level tolerance has been achieved. All power chucks KCHP/VKCHP allow for quick jaw changes using spherical positioning pins, which means that there is no need for regrinding even after removing the jaws from the chuck.
