[Sonic] Water Drainage Drying Case Studies: Issues with Bottle Labeling

There was no need for additional construction, and it fit into the existing production line.

Sonic Corporation decided to operate the Sonic150 with 25 horsepower and two air knives, and to circulate air to raise the temperature coming from the air knives. The concept behind Sonic Corporation's revolutionary VT (patent pending) design is to utilize the pressure heat from the blower by partially circulating air. The exit temperature from the air knives will be approximately 45°C to 50°C. This method does not require an external thermal system. The air knives are installed about 10mm away from the bottles, allowing the bottles to pass through at a wind speed of approximately 9,300m/min. The high-speed air and heated exit temperature melt the ice and turn the remaining moisture into a mist. As a result, the bottles can be completely dried. [Sonic] Water Drainage Drying Case Studies: Removal of Residual Water After Pallet Cleaning

I have made it possible to repeatedly position the air knife.

We proposed 12 Sonic 70 blowers with 7.5 horsepower motors, enclosures, Sonic HEPA filters, and two custom Sonic XE air knives measuring 13 inches. The performance of the air knives delivered at the beginning of this system perfectly matched the blow level requested by the customer. The results of the contamination test also confirmed that Sonic's HEPA filters maintained the requested 0.3μ. Additionally, to operate most effectively while keeping the noise level below 80dB, the angle and distance of the air knives are very important, so we manufactured custom Sonic air knives to fit the existing air knife enclosures, allowing for repeated positioning of the air knives. Sonic Water Drainage Drying Case Studies: Drying of Automotive Cylinders

Sonic Corporation proposed an arrangement to blow a rotating air knife (patented) from above and a standard air knife from the side, positioned diagonally from top to bottom. Due to the low production speed and the complex shape of the engine block, it has been proven that the rotating air knife is suitable. The rotating air knife can achieve a rotation speed of 200 rpm. Sonic SP Dryer Application Successful Cable Dryer

Non-contact water removal and drying of wire cables using Sonic Corporation's blower and air knife.

We would like to introduce a successful application of the Sonic SP Dryer cable drying machine. A manufacturer of low-voltage wires and cables, as well as bare aluminum and copper wires, needed to install a spark tester before the final packaging process. This meant that the wire, running at 3000 feet per minute (900 m/min), had to be completely dried before the spark test. Due to the rapid increase in line speed, traditional methods became costly and inefficient. If the cable is not completely dried, the inspection machine may misidentify it as defective. Because of the high-speed production at 3000 feet per minute (900 m/min), Sonic recommended the SP dryer. This is a drying device housed in a box that features energy-saving air knife technology (XE 42” long) with a centrifugal blower (Sonic 150, 20 horsepower).
