The hydraulic bolt tensioner "Boltight," a member of the Nord-Lock Group, was born as an evolved version re-invented by the engineer Fred Heaton, who originally developed the tensioner, to address the challenges faced by the tensioner itself. At INPEX, after two NEDO commissioned projects, we have been conducting the development of practical application technology with a capacity of 400 Nm3-CO2/h, one of the largest in the world, as a subsidized project by NEDO since the fiscal year 2021.
