Disposer trouble response

Previously, we received a report from a customer for whom we had installed a disposer, stating that the disposer had stopped working. We visited the customer's home. The cause was due to a jam, which had locked the turntable and activated the safety device. Using the specialized tools that the customer had stored, we carried out the recovery work following these steps: 1. Remove the foreign object that caused the jam → 2. Use tools to unlock the turntable → 3. Reset the disposer (release the safety device) *Before starting work, please ensure to unplug the disposer to prevent it from starting up. The recovery is now complete. Once you become familiar with it, you can also perform the recovery yourself. As such, the disposer is equipped with features that protect it from malfunction, and the recovery work is simple, allowing you to use it with peace of mind.

Disposer trouble support!

We conducted the removal of foreign objects from the disposer. We received a report that a part of the decoration from a copper vase had fallen into the disposer processing facility, so we visited the customer's home. This time, since the disposer was not operated before the removal of the foreign object, it did not lead to a malfunction. If a foreign object falls into the disposer, please avoid operating it recklessly before removal. Reckless operation can cause jamming, leading to a malfunction. If you decide to perform the work yourself, please ensure to unplug the disposer before starting the work to prevent it from operating during the process.

New installation of a disposer.

Our company sells and installs disposers. This time, we installed a disposer at the Nishinomiya family's home. The model installed is the "YS-8100," which operates with the commonly used "lid switch" method in Japan. The operation is simply turning the switch ON/OFF, so even first-time users can use it with confidence. If you are considering installing a disposer or have any doubts or concerns, please feel free to consult us.

New installation of a disposer!

The customer this time became interested in a disposer while preparing to start cooking for themselves due to a job transfer and decided to install one. Before the installation, they were hesitant to cook for themselves because of the cleaning required for the sink drain, but since the installation, they seem to be more committed to cooking as they are now free from drain cleaning. In cases like this, when installing in a rental property, it may not be possible depending on the owner's intentions. If you are considering installation, please check whether there is any mention regarding the installation of a disposer in the rental agreement. Additionally, depending on the shape of the sink, construction involving cutting or drilling may be necessary. In such cases, please understand that installation is generally not allowed in rentals. (However, there may be cases where the owner agrees to the construction after negotiation.)

New installation of a disposer!

A disposer was installed in a newly built family home in Wakayama Prefecture. It seems that the decision to install the disposer was made after selecting the kitchen. This time, due to interference with the drawer section of the kitchen, it could not be installed as is, so modifications were made to the drawer to enable installation. The model installed is the YS-8100 from From Industries, and the operation method is a lid switch type, which is the mainstream model in Japan.

The model installed is the "Ecologic 6" from Anaheim, and the operation method is the same continuous feed disposer that was used previously. If you have any inquiries regarding the installation or replacement of disposers, please feel free to contact us anytime.

Panasonic Laxina disposal installation work

This time, the site featured the popular Panasonic system kitchen for kitchen renovations. In renovations of condominiums with disposers, kitchen replacement work is sometimes carried out. In general kitchen renovations, when installing a disposer, it is often the case that only stainless steel sinks can be chosen. This is because modern system kitchen drainage outlets are often of a one-piece molded type, and in the case of artificial marble sinks, there is often not enough opening size required for installing a disposer. Our company also performs retrofitting installation work for disposers, even with such artificial marble sinks. If you have any questions about the content, please feel free to contact us.

New installation of Panasonic Seamless Sink!

This time, we installed a disposer in Panasonic's seamless sink (stainless steel type). Normally, this sink cannot accommodate a disposer due to its narrow drain diameter, but our company can modify the sink to make it possible. Since the inlet of the disposer is also made of stainless steel, it blends well with the sink made of the same material, resulting in a finish that feels seamless. The storage space under the sink can be adjusted to accommodate the disposer, so while it may not have the same storage capacity as before, we can secure as much storage space as possible while allowing you to use the disposer with almost the same kitchen usability as before.

Replacing the disposer in a detached house!

This time, we replaced the disposer based on a contact from a local plumbing company. The customer consulted us about issues with their disposer, and upon researching available contractors, they found our company and reached out to us. After receiving the request and checking the site, we found that they were using an old model made by Anaheim. They reported unusual noises during operation, and upon closer inspection, we discovered that the swing hammer inside the grinding chamber had fallen off due to corrosion, and there was visible wear and tear in various places due to age. We determined that replacing it with a new unit would be more cost-effective than repairing it, so we replaced it with a similar type of product. Additionally, there was no trap installed in the plumbing before the replacement, which made it easier for odors to rise, so we implemented a solution using an S-trap. If you experience any issues with your disposer, please feel free to consult us.

If there are no issues, we will seal the sink and wait for the handover. If you have any inquiries regarding the installation of disposers, please feel free to contact us at any time.
