The CC-USB271-CPSN4 is a compact modular USB I/O unit that connects to a Windows PC's USB port using an attached USB cable (USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A to Type-C). It can utilize up to four versatile and low-cost signal input/output I/O modules from Contec's Ethernet-based remote I/O "CONPROSYS(R) nano series (currently available)." When there are different operating circuits or sensors at a single endpoint and the overall number of I/O points is low, it is possible to combine I/O modules with the net number of signal input/output points to configure the I/O unit, which helps reduce costs compared to traditional USB I/O units. Additionally, it can be powered via USB cable from a Windows PC.
