When the diameter of the grinding wheel is large and the peripheral speed of the grinding wheel is high, even a slight imbalance in the grinding wheel can cause vibrations during rotation, which negatively affects the surface finish of the workpiece and the bearing life of the grinding wheel spindle. The DITTEL balancing system consists of a precisely manufactured mechanical balancing head and a proven balance adjustment control device. It detects imbalance by reading the vibrations detected by an accelerometer during the rotation of the grinding wheel and adjusts by moving the balancing weights manually or automatically. In automatic mode, the controller automatically controls the weights until the set balancing completion value is stabilized or the balance of the grinding wheel is completely maintained (trial and error processing). *Online seminar scheduled!
