We will be exhibiting new products and technologies at the 38th NePCON Japan! 〇Industrial Equipment Division APT-1600FD Dual-Side Flying Probe Tester A flagship model that allows simultaneous inspection of both sides by placing probe heads on the top and bottom of the board. Using OPC-UA (OPC Unified Architecture), our unique software links with your MES (Manufacturing Execution System) to collect and manage operational information in real-time (first-time exhibit). 〇RF Division RFID × IoT Data Service "RFID Work Performance Collection System" Data from IC tags can be sent to the cloud via MQTT just by placing them, enabling data collection. The collected data is visualized through a dashboard function, achieving "visualization of work performance." Since the reader-writer is autonomous, there is no need for a control PC or software development for both HF and UHF bands. Record management of items taken out with just a touch "Item Management System" Utilizing IC tags to reliably record the history of items taken out and returned, preventing omissions and errors in ledger entries, and supporting early detection of forgotten returns or losses. Efficient inventory management is possible through bulk reading with RFID handheld devices. Many more exhibits are planned.

Exhibiting at Nepcon 2024 from January 24! Achieving interoperability between industrial equipment and MES systems!

OPC UA (OPC Unified Architecture) is an open international standard developed for safe and reliable data exchange in industries such as industrial automation. It was announced by the OPC Foundation in 2008 and later standardized as IEC62541. It allows for secure and highly reliable data exchange across different types of devices, operating systems, and manufacturers, making it recommended as the standard communication for Industrie 4.0 and increasingly adopted worldwide. Additionally, it is aligned with the international standard for PLCs, IEC61131-3, which provides the advantage of reliably exchanging information from the manufacturing site with higher-level monitoring control systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). In response to this trend, Takaya has prepared an option to equip the APT series of flying probe testers with an OPC UA server. We are working to promote the spread of industrial IoT standards that bridge FA equipment and IT.

Programming for FPGAs and special performance tests such as BST can be handled with a flying probe tester.

This is an option that equips the underside operating axis of the APT-1600FD series with a dedicated fixture lifting mechanism. It allows for special inspections connected to external devices, such as Boundary Scan Tests (BST), as well as writing to and reading logs from ICs, to be performed in parallel with in-circuit testing. *For an image of the operation, please refer to the YouTube video.

In civil engineering sites, the use of sheet piling methods is essential for safely utilizing the site, including temporary roads, access roads, heavy machinery work yards, material storage areas, and worker pathways. Traditionally, steel plates have been widely used, but due to their weight, they can be cumbersome to transport, install, and remove. Hyper CLT sheet piles are civil engineering materials made from wooden CLT for civil use. The 5×10 panel weighs approximately 230 kg, and the 5×20 panel weighs about 460 kg, making them lightweight and easy to handle with small machinery, contributing to reduced burdens during installation and improved work efficiency. They can be utilized in a wide range of civil engineering sites for measures against muddy conditions, ground protection, heavy machinery scaffolding, and ensuring pedestrian pathways. As a registered technology under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism NETIS "TH-250021-A," it is also recommended as a material for innovative ideas, safety measures, and environmental considerations in public works.

Traditional steel plates are heavy, requiring large machinery for installation and removal, which can make work difficult in narrow sites. Hyper CLT ground plates are lightweight civil engineering CLT materials made from wooden CLT for civil use. A 5×10 plate weighs about 230 kg, and a 5×20 plate weighs about 460 kg, making them easy to handle even with small machinery, thus reducing the burden of transportation, installation, and removal.
