【PLA (Polylactic Acid) Microcellular Foam Products Considerate of People and the Earth】 Our unique "Inert Gas Foaming Technology" has successfully enabled the microcellular foaming of biodegradable resin PLA (Polylactic Acid) using environmentally friendly foaming agents such as carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen (N2) at high ratios, which was previously difficult. By not using chemical foaming agents, our products are 100% biodegradable and carbon neutral. As a material that addresses global environmental issues, it can be freely shaped into food trays, packaging materials, fishing and agricultural supplies, medical products, as well as store displays, exhibition booths, stage decorations, and display items.

Beads made from plant-derived, biodegradable resin PLA (polylactic acid) are foamed using a unique extrusion foaming technology developed by Plasteco, which utilizes low environmental impact inert gases (CO2, N2) and are then steam-formed into block and board shapes. They can be processed into your desired shape through cutting and other methods! They can be used as an alternative to traditional expanded polystyrene for packaging materials and cushioning, as well as for three-dimensional objects and display items. High expansion foaming with a safe and inexpensive foaming agent (inert gas) also allows for a reduction in raw materials! PLA resin, which has a high raw material cost, can be foamed and molded at a low cost.

Plasteco's supercritical inert gas quantitative supply device maintains a constant supply mass and automatically adjusts the supply pressure to follow the pressure at the supply point, enabling precise control of the supply volume at all times and achieving uniform and fine foaming.
