Plasteco's supercritical inert gas quantitative supply device maintains a constant supply mass and automatically adjusts the supply pressure to follow the pressure at the supply point, enabling precise control of the supply volume at all times and achieving uniform and fine foaming. Furthermore, by precisely controlling the gas addition amount through data linkage (optional) with extrusion and injection molding machines, stabilization of foaming ratios and reduction in the weight of molded products become possible. Beads made from plant-derived, biodegradable resin PLA (polylactic acid) are foamed using a unique extrusion foaming technology developed by Plasteco, which utilizes low environmental impact inert gases (CO2, N2) and are then steam-formed into block and board shapes. They can be processed into your desired shape through cutting and other methods! They can be used as an alternative to traditional expanded polystyrene for packaging materials and cushioning, as well as for three-dimensional objects and display items. High expansion foaming with a safe and inexpensive foaming agent (inert gas) also allows for a reduction in raw materials!
