[Title] Thermal Characteristics of Batteries Observed with a Microcalorimeter
[Overview] A microcalorimeter is a device that can measure very small changes in heat with high sensitivity and is widely used to understand the thermal characteristics of substances and chemical reactions. It is also useful in the research and development of battery technology, including the analysis of battery self-discharge and degradation mechanisms, as well as safety evaluations. This presentation will introduce the overview and principles of microcalorimeters, along with application examples focused on batteries.
[Speaker] Minako Maeda, Application Department, TA Instruments
