We have newly developed an iPad piano performance device.
Newly Developed iPad Piano Performance Device
This device receives MIDI signals from commercially available electronic pianos and PC productions, visually representing the performer's playing status with vibrant colors on a front-facing LED display. The display colors change automatically in full color, creating a dazzling visual effect. The number of LEDs on the display matches the number of keys, with 88 LEDs arranged in a single horizontal row, and each LED corresponds to the position of the keys, illuminating in full color where the keys are pressed. All other LEDs, aside from those corresponding to pressed keys, are also constantly illuminated and change in full color as well. However, the pressed key LEDs and the non-pressed key LEDs are programmed to have different brightness and color displays, ensuring that the pressed key LEDs are clearly and vividly shown, creating a stunning visual representation of the performer's playing status.
Compared to automatic performances that only produce sound, this device allows for an imaginative representation of the playing status, enabling even those who cannot play the electronic piano to enjoy it as a visual spectacle at home. It can faithfully display high-speed performances from PC-produced music that cannot be played by humans, and since the LED display is a separate unit, it can be positioned on the keyboard side rather than the back of the electronic piano for viewing. In settings like restaurants, it can also switch to an elegant display mode.
This device is registered with the Patent Office as a utility model, including other applications (No. 3165843).

The full-color LED illuminates vividly, creating a spectacular and powerful performance atmosphere. When performance data is recorded on the iPad and played back, it is much more enjoyable with both light and sound compared to just sound playback.
