[Seminar] A New Theory of Management Interpreted through Behavioral Science

[Speaker]
Shunsuke Suzuki, President and CEO, Management Techniques Co., Ltd.
[Key Lecture Content]
In a rapidly changing business environment, we are compelled to collaborate daily with people from various backgrounds and navigate the intersection of diverse opinions and values to push our proposals and ideas forward. However, for some reason, even good ideas are often misunderstood and not accepted. Why is that? To implement new initiatives within an organization, it is necessary to overcome multiple barriers and unify stakeholders with differing opinions and values.
In this seminar, we will explain a "management theory" that has been lacking, based on various perspectives such as organizational theory, psychology, communication theory, and political economy. We will cover communication techniques that promote changes in people's behaviors and attitudes, storytelling that generates empathy, and the building of trust relationships, all aimed at achieving transformation within organizations. This will be beneficial not only for proposals within organizations but also for negotiations in BtoB sales and the development of everyday interpersonal relationships, enhancing interpersonal skills across a wide range of situations.
