[Key Lecture Content]
The rapid growth of AI has led to a swift expansion of data centers worldwide. In light of the anticipated explosive increase in electricity demand, there is a call for expanded supply, and the option of constructing new nuclear power plants has emerged in Japan.
This seminar will clarify how data centers are growing both globally and in Japan, and how electricity demand coverage is expected based on international data and materials.
On the other hand, it will also explain various energy-saving technologies being promoted by data centers, the application of cutting-edge optical technology IWON, and proactive strategies for achieving 24/7 carbon-free energy primarily through renewable energy and battery storage.
