High-precision products can be manufactured using stainless steel (SUS) and super engineering plastics (PEEK).

The Babcock forceps are medical forceps primarily used to grasp soft tissues such as organs, tissues, and blood vessels during surgery. The product in the image is a sample made by injection molding from the same mold using PEEK and SUS, and products made with MIM shrink by about 20%, making them smaller than resin products. Sayama Mold Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is capable of producing molds aimed at specified dimensions and supporting injection molding even with MIM.

However, in our country, there are still numerous challenges, and the majority of EV batteries are flowing overseas along with used EVs. In recent years, protectionist policies have been promoted in various countries, such as the U.S. tariff policies and China's rare earth export regulations, and there are concerns that if our country delays its response, the outflow will accelerate further. In light of this situation, we will analyze the impact of geopolitical risks on the formation of a circular economy domestically, overview what initiatives the government, local governments, and private companies have been advancing in the country, and propose measures deemed necessary to further accelerate the formation of a circular economy.
