The Japan Venture Awards is a recognition system that honors entrepreneurs of high-aspiration startups engaged in innovative businesses with significant growth potential and those contributing to solving social issues.
At the award ceremony held on December 18 at the Toranomon Hills Forum, nominated entrepreneurs took the stage, and the winners of each award were announced. Among various awards announced, including the Minister of Science and Technology Policy Award and the Director-General of the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency Award, our Representative Director, CEO, and CTO, Suemitsu, received the highest honor, the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award. During the award presentation, Toshiyuki Ochi, the Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, emphasized that the technology of startups will be central to achieving a strong economy and that strengthening support for deep tech startups will be one of the important initiatives moving forward.
