SPACECOOL Co., Ltd. will be exhibiting at the "Resona EXPO Re:Future," a legacy event of the Expo hosted by Resona Bank, which will be held from August 21 (Friday) to 23 (Sunday), 2026, at the ATC Hall in Osaka Nanko. SPACECOOL is a new material that enables zero-energy cooling by converting heat into infrared radiation and releasing it into space, without using any external power. At the Osaka-Kansai Expo, we provided SPACECOOL tents and SPACECOOL parasols made from this material as a sponsorship to help prevent heatstroke for visitors and staff. At this event, we will showcase products from the "SPACECOOL Consumer Products Lab," including the new model "SPACECOOL Parasol Type 2," which is a radiative cooling parasol that sold out at the Osaka-Kansai Expo, as well as products currently under development. SPACECOOL Co., Ltd. will exhibit at the 12th Heat Countermeasure Exhibition, a specialized trade show focused on solving heat-related issues, to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from July 15 (Wednesday) to July 17 (Friday), 2026. At this exhibition, we will showcase products from the "SPACECOOL Consumer Products Lab.," including the "SPACECOOL Umbrella Type 2," which will be launched in June 2026, as well as products currently under development. The "SPACECOOL Fabric Type 2" used in the exhibited products significantly suppresses the intrusion of heat from sunlight and promotes heat dissipation by radiating the heat transferred to the umbrella as infrared rays into space. The "SPACECOOL Umbrella Type 2" achieves high light-blocking and UV shielding performance, with a heat shielding rate of 80% (in the case of silver). SPACECOOL Inc. will participate in the "WEEK to End the Too Hot Summer" event, which will be held from August 1 (Saturday) to August 9 (Sunday), 2026. - Reason for Participation Our company is working on the social implementation of radiative cooling materials "SPACECOOL" to address various heat-related challenges affecting people, goods, and society, caused by global warming, from both "mitigation" and "adaptation" perspectives. At the same time, we believe it is important to view this heat not as something that cannot be helped, but as something that society must confront collectively. The "WEEK to End the Too Hot Summer" is precisely an initiative to reframe this heat as a personal issue and connect it to the power to drive societal change. We believe that the purpose of this project aligns with our aspirations, and we will participate in it. Through our involvement in this project, we aim to confront extreme heat as a society and contribute to creating a community where people's lives and potential are not limited by heat.
