[Seminar] Latest Cooling Technologies in Data Centers
[Speaker]
Hirokazu Shibata, President of Zazu Design Inc.
[Key Lecture Content]
Currently, we can easily access data centers without being aware of their existence, even from our smartphones. However, it is not widely known that data centers installed around the world consume vast amounts of electricity daily. A significant portion of the consumed power is used to directly drive hardware, but a considerable amount of the remaining power is used to cool that hardware.
In this seminar, we will compare and examine the characteristics, advantages, and disadvantages of various cooling methods used in data centers, explaining the cooling technologies in a way that is easy for beginners to understand, starting from the basics of thermal design. Additionally, we plan to take time to provide a detailed explanation of the heat dissipation devices used for cooling.
