Tokyo, March 12, 2026 - (JCN Newswire) - Keiichiro Sato, the representative of Sato Mokko, will hold a two-person exhibition titled "The Theory of Decoration - Sacred Ornamentation" with Isamu Nasu, a gem producer, at the "Galerie La" in Ginza, Tokyo, from March 19 to 25 for seven days.
Keiichiro Sato from Tsuru City, Yamanashi Prefecture, is a notable contemporary Japanese furniture craftsman who has received numerous awards in public art exhibitions. Sato Mokko is a furniture and building materials manufacturing company with a history and tradition dating back to 1934. However, in recent years, the company has suffered two fires, resulting in the complete loss of all products, photographs, tools, and materials, forcing them to start from scratch.
Sato stated, "I have decided to use the traditional woodworking techniques that have been cultivated over the years to deliver even higher quality products to the world. I want to continue creating unique and exquisite furniture using rare materials such as the figured keyaki, buttonwood, and black persimmon." More than 50 works are permanently displayed in the special exhibition room within the Tsuru City factory.
