PIAB announces the Kenos Cobot Medium (KCM), achieving flexible collaborative robot handling while accommodating heavy loads.
In the handling process of collaborative robots, an important challenge is how to efficiently transport workpieces while considering the constraints of payload capacity. This is particularly critical in processes such as palletizing and case packing, where the balance between the weight and performance of the gripper directly affects productivity.
Kenos' new product, the "Kenos Cobot Medium (KCM)," is a vacuum gripper designed specifically for collaborative robots, combining lightweight design with high payload capacity. The gripper itself has a lightweight body of less than 4 kg while being capable of handling workpieces weighing up to 30 kg. This allows for maximum utilization of the robot's payload, achieving high-efficiency handling. Additionally, the compatibility with modular valve options and PCOF (Piab Customizable Organic Foam) enables flexible adaptation to various workpiece shapes and materials, allowing for optimal configurations based on specific applications.
【Features】
- Lightweight (under 4 kg) yet capable of handling workpieces up to 30 kg
- Maximizes the payload capacity of collaborative robots
- Enables flexible system construction with modular valves
- Compatible with PCOF for adaptation to diverse workpiece shapes
