SPACECOOL received the Excellence Award in the 8th term of the JA Accelerator Program for proposing a radiative cooling solution to address heat-related challenges in the agriculture and livestock industry.
SPACECOOL Inc. has received the Excellence Award in the "JA Accelerator Program 8th Term," an open innovation program hosted by the "AgVenture Lab," an innovation lab by eight JA Group organizations nationwide, which supports startup companies with innovative ideas and technologies in the agriculture, forestry, and livestock sectors.
In this program, startups that passed the preliminary screening from a record number of over 270 applications presented at the final selection meeting held on May 21, 2026. During this event, our company proposed a new solution utilizing the radiative cooling material "SPACECOOL" to maintain and improve productivity in the agriculture and livestock industry and to reduce the risk of heatstroke for agricultural workers, earning the Excellence Award.
Due to the worsening heat waves associated with recent climate change, the importance of heat countermeasures in the agriculture and livestock industry has increased. Taking this recognition as an opportunity, our company aims to further contribute to various challenges related to heat in the agriculture and livestock sector through the radiative cooling material "SPACECOOL." Additionally, to accelerate our expansion into the agriculture, forestry, and livestock sectors, we will participate in the upcoming "Livestock Week" this month to recruit demonstration sites.
