Efficiently and uniformly coating in a short period using a high-power laser.

Sturm has developed the "ADCS (Advanced Disc Coating System)," a wear-resistant coating device for brake discs using laser cladding technology. This system suppresses wear and corrosion, enhances braking performance and environmental performance, and meets the European environmental regulation ERUO7 as well as the demands of the EV market, providing automated equipment with coating inspection devices that can accommodate mass production.

Instead of a liner, by thermal spraying steel wire or powder into the cylinder bore, we achieve durability, reduced number of parts, and weight reduction!

The German company Strum's cylinder bore thermal spraying device allows for the selection of either wire or powder as the thermal spray material. The specifications of the equipment also change depending on the thermal spray material used. A cylinder inspector made by STURM is installed in the machine, which records the surface roughness, coating defects, and surface characteristics of the cylinder before and after spraying. There is also an inline measurement device (independent or included with the wire thermal spraying process). The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will publish "Guidelines on the Interpretation and Application of Civil Liability in AI Utilization" in April 2026, and the Ministry of Justice will also establish an expert meeting to examine civil liability related to unauthorized use of images and voices generated by AI in the same month. As the full enforcement of the AI Promotion Act and the revision of AI guidelines are underway, it is necessary to design and operate governance based on the potential responsibilities that may arise retrospectively. In this seminar, based on the guidelines from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and drawing on litigation practice experience as a judge and lawyer, we will organize the basic framework for assessing civil liability and explain fundamental methods for designing and operating governance based on risk analysis.
