Tokyo, June 26, 2026 - (JCN Newswire) - A new survey conducted by Kaspersky's Digital Footprint Intelligence (DFI) division has revealed that over one-third of infostealer infections are attributed to users executing files directly from their browser's temporary folder, highlighting that user behavior remains a significant factor in the context of credential theft.
Among infostealer attacks, only 32% employ techniques commonly seen in advanced malware families, such as process injection and environment-parasitic (Living off the Land: LotL) attacks.
