Nitto Boseki's "Plastic Reinforcement Recycled Glass Fiber" is an innovative environmentally friendly material that contributes to sustainable manufacturing and the realization of carbon neutrality. Currently, we are promoting product development through two approaches. The first is the "mass balance approach product" certified by ISCC PLUS, which has a manufacturing scheme that reduces environmental impact and achieves a 100% recycling rate (defined value), allowing for a smooth replacement of conventional existing products. The second is the "PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) product," which uses cover glass from used solar panels, raising concerns about future environmental impact as waste. Through Nitto Boseki's advanced surface treatment technology and appropriate adjustment of recycling rates, we have successfully achieved excellent mechanical properties equivalent to virgin products (standard products). We provide a next-generation composite solution that maintains the high reinforcement performance of conventional glass fibers while directly contributing to the reduction of the product's carbon footprint (CFP).
