Evaluation of Vibration Amplitude and Frequency of In-Vehicle Audio | SG5020 Application Case
SinceVision SinceVision
Capture the vibration amplitude and frequency of audio equipment, and utilize it for evaluating sound reproduction and operational status. We present a case study of non-contact vibration measurement using SinceVision's SG5020 laser displacement sensor.
In audio systems, understanding the vibration behavior at different frequencies leads to the confirmation of strain and anomalies, as well as performance adjustments. In this case study, we rapidly acquire the displacement of the target surface to collect information for analyzing vibration patterns and irregular movements.
With data acquisition up to 590 kHz, we support measurements that capture rapid vibration changes. Since the measurement does not involve contact with the subject, it allows for the observation of surface movements without installing contact sensors on delicate audio equipment. The application of this technology is also introduced on the official page for in-vehicle audio systems, as well as in acoustic research and evaluation facilities.
If you wish to evaluate the amplitude and frequency of vibrations, please inform us of the measurement target, the frequency range you want to check, the expected displacement amount, and the required recording time. You can consult us for a configuration tailored to the actual measurement conditions to utilize the measurement data for performance evaluation and operational confirmation.
