The Sentai Company Original Permanent Magnet Torque Controller [CHT Series] has two characteristics: "high reliability torque controller performance" and "minimal wear." Unlike friction-type clutches and brakes, the torque in the CHT series is transmitted by magnetic force. Permanent magnets are fixed between two bases. The shaft is secured to a hysteresis plate. Through the permanent magnets in the base, the hysteresis plate generates opposing resistance. This resistance results in the rise of torque.
