Developed with the cooperation of the automotive industry (VDA, Frankfurt), this testing machine allows for the reproduction and comparison of results from flying stones impacting automobiles and trains. It blasts standardized steel micropowder at high speed onto coated test specimens. This test specimen can also be effectively used for other coating tests, such as corrosion testing.

A spray droplet particle measurement system that replaces phase Doppler method and laser diffraction method.

AOM Systems' SpraySpy is a completely new spray droplet/spray particle measurement system that uses a unique pulse displacement method (Time-Shift technique). It has obtained international patents and can simultaneously measure the size, velocity, and particle density of opaque or non-spherical particles and high-density spray particles, which was difficult with existing technologies such as phase Doppler method or laser diffraction method. Additionally, since the laser emission and detection parts are the same for detecting backscattered light, it eliminates the need for complicated adjustments of the detection part's position.
