Manufacturing Industry ECO Reform Seminar in Tokyo

Reducing the content of harmful substances in products is an important factor related to "quality" and "social responsibility" in manufacturing, amidst the diversification of global regulations such as the ELV Directive, REACH Regulation, and RoHS Directive. On the other hand, in parts procurement, the environmental reporting formats differ depending on customers, such as chemSHERPA, JAMA, and IMDS, which is increasing the operational burden for environmental compliance. In this era, it is an urgent issue for the manufacturing industry to achieve corporate ECO reform by having each designer consider environmental standards from the design stage, thereby reducing the operational burden related to environmental compliance. We, S2I, who have been involved in BOM development for many years, will introduce a global approach to environmental management utilizing BOM, focusing on "ENOVIA Materials Compliance Management" (abbreviated as MCM).
