Explosion-proof LED lighting "LZBA Series" *Compatible with ZONE 1 and ZONE 2

Reliability in explosion-proof areas is essential, and glare reduction along with high color rendering improves work efficiency! Compared to our conventional fluorescent fixtures, power consumption is reduced by approximately 55%!

Introducing the new explosion-proof LED light series, the 'LZBA series', designed to meet the high reliability required in explosion-proof areas and suitable for use in explosive hazardous locations Zone 1 and Zone 2! While equipped with high output equivalent to fluorescent lights, we have achieved a reduction in power consumption from 91W to 40.5W, approximately 55% less compared to our conventional explosion-proof fluorescent fixtures. Additionally, we have reviewed the design of the LED module and housing, achieving a lightweight and compact form. With glare reduction and high color rendering (Ra83), it also contributes to improving the work environment. ★ZONE 1 (Class 1 location): Areas where explosive atmospheres may be generated during normal operation of plants, etc. ★ZONE 2 (Class 2 location): Areas where explosive atmospheres are not likely to be generated during normal operation of plants, etc., and if they do occur during abnormal conditions, they exist only for a short time. 【Features】 ■ Three types to choose from (equivalent to 1-lamp and 2-lamp FHF32W high-output type, and equivalent to FHF16W high-output type) ■ Achieved approximately 27% weight reduction for 2-lamp and about 21% for 1-lamp compared to our conventional explosion-proof fluorescent fixtures ■ Size reduction of about 33% for the 1-lamp type *For more details, please refer to the materials. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries.

Explosion-proof LED lighting fixture LZLA

Explosion-proof LED lighting fixtures LZLA series, ideal for replacing incandescent and circular fluorescent lamps in explosion-proof areas.

New Release of Explosion-Proof LED Lighting Fixtures (LZLA Series) Seiwa Electric Co., Ltd. has enhanced its lineup of LED lighting fixtures under the <Star Reds> series to meet diverse needs in the introduction of energy-saving equipment in factories and initiatives for the environment (Minamata Convention). We are pleased to announce the addition of the explosion-proof LED lighting fixtures "LZLA Series," which can be used in explosive hazardous areas Zone 1 and Zone 2, equivalent to incandescent lamps (100W, 200W) and high-output FHF32W (circular and compact fluorescent lamps). Orders will begin on May 15. The main body of the fixture utilizes aluminum die-casting, which excels in heat dissipation and lightweight design. By implementing effective heat dissipation measures, the operating temperature range has been increased to -20°C to +50°C (compared to our conventional LED products which are -20°C to +40°C), enhancing resistance to high-temperature environments. Additionally, it achieves a maintenance-free LED module lifespan of 60,000 hours while also possessing high durability and weather resistance.

Explosion-proof LED lighting fixture LZAB

Explosion-proof LED lighting fixtures using straight LED lamps compliant with the International Harmonized Explosion Protection Guidelines 2008 standard for explosion-proof areas such as chemical plants.

Launch of Explosion-Proof LED Lighting Fixtures (LZAB Series) These LED lighting fixtures can be installed in explosion-proof areas such as chemical plants, oil refineries, and hydrogen stations. The light source (lamp) can be replaced independently, allowing for reduced capital investment during lighting equipment updates compared to conventional integrated LED lighting fixtures. Additionally, it achieves brightness equivalent to a high-output FHF32 two-lamp setup while reducing power consumption by approximately 36% compared to traditional fluorescent lamps (based on our company's estimation conditions). It meets explosion-proof performance standards for Zone 1, Zone 2 areas, and hydrogen areas. ■ Product Features ○ Achieves brightness equivalent to a high-output FHF32 two-lamp setup, with power consumption reduced by approximately 36%. ○ Uses straight LED lamps as the light source. ○ Lamps can be replaced using the same method as conventional light sources (FLR/FHF). ○ Compatible with Zone 1, Zone 2 areas, and hydrogen areas.

LED lighting fixtures for wastewater treatment facilities

Numerous lighting solutions for harsh environments! Explosion-proof and hydrogen sulfide-compatible products also help prevent workplace accidents.

Sewage treatment facilities, where water is always present, create a harsh environment for electrical equipment. Additionally, the hydrogen sulfide and digestion gases (methane) generated from wastewater can lead directly to occupational hazards. Our company offers a wide range of LED lighting fixtures equipped with high waterproof and moisture-proof performance, including flood-resistant types that can handle temporary flooding caused by heavy rain. We also conduct tests to confirm performance against corrosion from hydrogen sulfide, taking into account the facility and its installation environment. 【Features】 ■ High waterproof and moisture-proof performance ■ High reliability due to excellent weather resistance ■ Testing conducted to confirm performance as a countermeasure against hydrogen sulfide ■ Explosion-proof standards compliant with "Internationally Harmonized Guidelines and Technical Standards for Explosion Protection" *For more details, please refer to the materials. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries.

[Seminar] Drifting Trends in US-China Relations Regarding COP30 Climate Change

  • NEW
  • SEMINAR_EVENT

[Speaker] Masato Kimura, International Journalist in London [Key Lecture Content] The 30th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP30) was held in Belém, Pará, Brazil, at the mouth of the Amazon River. The much-anticipated roadmap for phasing out fossil fuels revealed deep divisions, with the only significant outcome being the tripling of adaptation funding to \$120 billion per year. Moreover, the deadline was pushed back from 2030 to 2035, becoming merely a target. The lack of leadership from Brazil, the host country prioritizing the image of being "the leader of the Amazon," the absence of the United States, Europe's financial struggles, and China's prioritization of its own interests have all contributed to these divisions. Amid escalating North-South conflicts between developed and developing countries, the United Nations' multilateralism is becoming dysfunctional. [Lecture Items] 1. The venue, Belém 2. The emerging divisions 3. The absence of the United States - Big tech and fossil fuel companies are expanding data centers across the U.S. 4. The increasing presence of China - New energy ecosystems: solar power, storage, hydrogen 5. Japan becoming a regular recipient of the Fossil Award - CCS (carbon capture and storage), co-firing of hydrogen and ammonia 6. The rebellion of indigenous peoples 7. Q&A

[Seminar] Visualization of GX Value and Responses Companies Should Undertake

  • NEW
  • SEMINAR_EVENT

[Speaker] Mizuho Research & Technologies Co., Ltd. Manager Takahiro Kirihara, Sustainability Consulting Division 1 [Key Lecture Content] In February 2025, the "GX2040 Vision" was announced. Recent domestic GX policies have primarily focused on supporting the supply of GX products, as exemplified by the GX Promotion Act and GX Transition Bonds. However, this vision emphasizes the need for demand stimulation measures for companies on the purchasing side, considering the current challenges in achieving carbon neutrality solely through market principles. As measures aimed at creating a GX market are planned for the future, we will examine the responses that companies should undertake to capture the anticipated expansion of the GX market. [Lecture Items] 1. Overview of domestic GX policies and the positioning of "visualization of GHG emissions" within GX policies 2. Overview of overseas policies related to "visualization of GHG emissions" 3. Recent trends in the visualization of GHG emissions 3.1 Movements regarding inter-company data collaboration in GHG emissions calculation 3.2 New indicators for GHG emissions; reduction performance 4. Responses that companies should undertake 5. Q&A / Business card exchange
