Advantech, a global leader in the field of industrial computers and IoT devices (headquartered in Taiwan 2395.TW), obtained SBT Initiative certification in June 2021 as part of its efforts to realize a low-carbon society. Over the next decade, as part of its initiatives toward 2030, the company will set greenhouse gas reduction targets and promote "decarbonization management."
As the international movement toward achieving net-zero emissions of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, gains momentum, Advantech is committed to effective emission reductions through its business activities, shifting towards "decarbonization management" to become a company that contributes to a sustainable society. In the third quarter of 2020, the company voluntarily participated in the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and has been promoting its activities, obtaining SBTi certification in June 2021.
