Super short delivery time with shipping within 24 hours from reception! We have added a page introducing salt bath (salt treatment).

**About Salt Baths**
A salt solution is created by heating and melting chemicals such as potassium chloride, sodium chloride, and sodium nitrite. This is a quenching method where products are heated in a salt bath quenching tank filled with salt solution and then rapidly cooled with low-temperature salt solution. The salt solution has superior heat transfer compared to gases, allowing for uniform heat distribution to the object. Since the salt solution directly contacts the object, it minimizes cooling unevenness during the cooling process, leading to stabilization of the structure and reducing the risks of hardness variation, distortion, and cracking.
**Our Features**
We perform quenching by heating in a pit-type carburizing furnace at over 800°C and rapidly cooling in a salt bath at 170°C to 180°C. By rapidly cooling, even materials like S45C, which are difficult to harden, can achieve higher hardness compared to oil cooling. Additionally, as mentioned above, this process reduces the risks of hardness variation, distortion, and cracking.
**Materials Suitable for Salt Baths**
Carbon steel (S45C, S50C)
Carbon tool steel (SK2, SK4, SK5, SK6, SK7)
Structural steel (SS material, SCM435)
Bearing steel (SUJ2), etc.
