A new type of long-span construction elevator from Koshihara has arrived!

The new low-landing type "KRD-980LF" rotor deck is an elevator for long-span construction work. In narrow job sites such as urban areas, it eliminates the landing stage, allowing installation within the space of the elevator body (stage guard is required), and achieves shared use of guide rails with the conventional KRD series. Metal cracks are one of the concerns in equipment maintenance operations. Repairs using conventional welding methods can alter the base material around the crack due to heat, leading to residual stress and deformation, which always carries the risk of "crack recurrence" or "secondary damage."
