It adheres strongly even in situations where some degreasing may not be possible, curing effectively against oil.

The surface preparation for the repair area involves the general removal of rust and debris, sanding the repair area, degreasing, and cleaning. Then, the mixed U-Metal rapid type is applied by rubbing it onto the repair area, and finally, it is coated from above to complete the process. Initial curing begins three minutes after mixing (at room temperature), and it hardens after five minutes. After sixty minutes, it reaches a hardness suitable for machining. If you cannot wait for sixty minutes, applying warm air with a hairdryer can shorten the curing time. The standard U-Metal hardens through a chemical reaction, so the best condition for promoting curing is when the thickness of the mixed U-Metal is around 5mm. Conversely, if you want to delay curing, spreading it thinly will slow it down. Pre-cooling the base agent can further delay the curing time. Additionally, re-coating before curing is of course possible, and re-coating after curing is also not a problem.
