Sputtering can achieve film thickness uniformity that is difficult to attain with deposition, and it is also capable of forming films on resin molded products with gates, three-dimensional molded products, and thin resin films. Additionally, sputtering films can be produced in small lots. Films in roll form with a maximum length of 3700mm and a width of 900mm can also be formed. We also perform film formation of ITO transparent conductive films and Cu alloy films. Furthermore, by preparing custom targets such as Ti-Al, alloy film formation is possible. Sputtering on the outer circumference of roll-shaped products and masking sputtering on transparent resin products are also feasible. Applications/Examples of results
We have a track record of forming ITO on PET and PC resin, which was previously applied on glass. We performed Cu sputtering on the internal backside of watches and mobile phones for use as electromagnetic wave shielding. We also conducted Al sputtering on optical resin components, which are utilized as reflective films. ITO sputtering has been applied to the backside of plastic molded products for use as electromagnetic wave shielding for EMC measures.
