The Abitack and panel union made of SUS316 ranges from SPF-1/8-1/8 to SPF-1/2-1/2, while the brass version is BPF.
No welding required at the pipe inlet and outlet! The panel union is screw-fastened, making it easy to create pipe inlets and outlets, contributing to cost reduction.
In machinery and equipment, it is common practice to weld pipe components to the plates of panels or housings at the inlet and outlet of piping, but this is a labor-intensive task. With a panel union, you simply pass it through a hole in the plate and screw it in place. Since it is clamped with a spring washer, there is no worry about it loosening. By installing it on a thin wall that cannot have screw holes cut, you can form a joint for other threaded piping. There are no screw holes. There is not enough thickness to cut screw holes. There is not enough strength to cut screw holes. You are welding round bars or Rc union fittings just to create screw holes. There are places where you want to secure R threads.
