For applications using materials like Duracon, MC Nylon, and Teflon, where the operating temperature is not very high and you want to enhance slip properties, chemical resistance, and impact resistance, please consider this option. It features excellent impact resistance, wear resistance, self-lubrication, chemical resistance, low-temperature characteristics, and non-toxicity, and is treated as an alternative product to the aforementioned resins. That said, it is already familiar in everyday use; for instance, the resin at the tip of plastic hammers (both white and green) is made from the same resin, and since it has the properties of polyethylene, its chemical resistance is also comparable. Its slip properties are equivalent to Teflon and superior to Duracon and MC Nylon, while its linear expansion coefficient and wear resistance are significantly better. Especially in areas where Teflon is used but heat resistance is not required, I believe it offers considerable cost advantages. Additionally, there are variations that enhance slip properties and wear resistance depending on the grade, allowing for selection based on specific applications.
