This is a cedar tree over 60 years old, grown in a region known for its heavy snowfall unique to snow country. Its base is bent due to the glide of the snow, and each shape has its own characteristics. However, it has been left behind as a building material where efficiency is prioritized. Therefore, we have breathed new life into this simple and difficult-to-express material by creating the "Yukimagari Bench." Once you sit on it, you can feel the refined texture and gentle touch that the cedar Yukimagari inherently possesses.
