The CDA-1000X is a particle size distribution measurement device based on the electrical detection band method. Compared to conventional devices, it has improved functionality and performance while achieving miniaturization and cost reduction. The electrical detection band method can measure particle diameter, particle volume, and particle concentration. In the electrical detection band method, a constant current is passed through a tiny hole (aperture) in the detector, and by analyzing the change in impedance that occurs when particles pass through that hole, various parameters are assessed. By combining a 25μm aperture with a dedicated reagent, measurements can be taken from 0.5μm while minimizing the effects of noise. The stirring unit allows for uniform dispersion of particles in the electrolyte, making it widely used for industrial particle measurement such as toner and abrasives.
