1. Adsorption: Made from regenerated cotton and plant-based pecan with excellent adsorption power, it captures oil completely. The absorbed oils do not re-dissolve even when wet with rain or water, thanks to the unique structure of the oil sponge. 2. Organic Biodegradation: The bacteria within the oil sponge break down the absorbed oil into water and carbon dioxide. The oil is generally decomposed within 2 weeks to 3 months. 3. Disposal: Since the raw materials of the oil sponge are natural, they decompose naturally like fallen leaves and ultimately return to the soil. (Note) It is not possible to dispose of oil sponges that have absorbed a large amount of oil with regular waste. 4. Safety: Only safe bacteria recognized by the prestigious American organization ATTC are used.
