Organic Biodegradation: The bacteria within the oil sponge break down the absorbed oil into water and carbon dioxide. The oil is generally decomposed within 2 weeks to 3 months. 3. Disposal: Since the raw materials of the oil sponge are natural, they decompose naturally like fallen leaves and ultimately return to the soil. (Note) It is not possible to dispose of oil sponges that have absorbed a large amount of oil with regular waste. 4. Safety: Only safe bacteria recognized by the prestigious American organization ATTC are used.
